happy-here; Fading Greys who’ve near-crumbled anyways: those are the states of
being that are worse than dead. Who’d want to live the scavenge way when
sustenance and warmth come hard? Dead worse is those who’ve made their choice
and are a-wanting to be dead but know that soft-death costs. Not finding a way
to pass without accompanying pain is only the thought misery, or hunger, forces
on Edgefolk. Who-ever would carry this pain into the Nextus?”
