I am having a “raindrops on roses” kind of Friday.

So far, my day has included:
apple blossom
quaint houses
walking in the park
iced coffee
and ducks that were mallard, swans and geese

My patio flowers – front and back – look like they were planted by someone with green-fingers rather than by me.

Out in the pond, there are tadpole survivors of the unknown calamity that seemed to have killed them all, earlier this week.

I have queries out.

My fingers are crossed.

When the two magpies flapped down to join in my picnic they were more than welcome. :D

Sitting by the lake, in the park, every sense frissoned with Friday, and everything felt possible.

Happy Friday!

I hope you have a great weekend.

Wishing a wonderful Mothers' Day to those who celebrate that special day this weekend.

  1. You paint such pretty pictures with your words. I wish my Friday was as enchanting as yours. Good luck with your queries.

Thank you :) It was a beautiful day - too beautiful - I kept seeing a world as infused with possibility. That can't be normal ;)

  3. Blimey, that sounds like a picturesque day. I spent mine at work arguing with criminals and the mentally ill. Still, nice weather. Hope your weekend is and enjoyable as your Friday.

  5. Hi Tony I don't think I fancy swapping my day for yours. I am looking forward to my weekend Man Utd v Chelsea is my dark cloud on the horizon but the GLFC U10s are in their first cup final tomorrow so there is plenty to look forward to :D
