I love see Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is on one...Hi Anne
I love see Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is on one of the grey movie channels. I would watch it from any point in the narrative and I realised I always enjoyed it - I made an active choice to find out where it was and watch it! All the characters are stunning.

Hi Ivy
Her eyes were amazing. I borrowed them for Selene in Edgware.

Hi Jemi
It is sad to lose someone so significant they are like part of the fabric of the world.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15459671422564355990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7673700697394236559.post-35115948936559289982011-03-24T01:16:58.984+00:002011-03-24T01:16:58.984+00:00So sad when we lose one of the icons. So sad when we lose one of the icons.Jemi Fraserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02214408467456320167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7673700697394236559.post-45236697338915702662011-03-24T00:52:42.151+00:002011-03-24T00:52:42.151+00:00So pretty, she was.So pretty, she was.The Happy Whiskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13438469476168485775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7673700697394236559.post-56517808037636155932011-03-24T00:15:17.577+00:002011-03-24T00:15:17.577+00:00She was such a great actress. I loved her in Cat ...She was such a great actress. I loved her in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with Paul Newman and her portrayal as Martha to Richard Burton's George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf was absolutely spellbinding. She will be sorely missed. She was truly the Queen of Hollywood.Anne Gallagherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05816355522284492131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7673700697394236559.post-29866927859769091502011-03-23T19:38:37.262+00:002011-03-23T19:38:37.262+00:00Hi Karen
She was one of the children in Jane Eyre....Hi Karen
She was one of the children in Jane Eyre. I knew her from her Michael Jackson period.

Hi Heather
She was a great actress. I remember my parents arguing over her - usually related to the marriages ;) She was huge to them.

Hi Laura
I checked - you are right. No wonder I remember crying buckets when Helen died. Even knowing that now, I can't see the actresses that way around. How weird is the human brain? OMG: Orson Wells was in the Jane Eyre? The things you find when you check.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15459671422564355990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7673700697394236559.post-15025782443914251972011-03-23T18:49:53.153+00:002011-03-23T18:49:53.153+00:00Elizabeth Taylor doesn't play Jane, she plays ...Elizabeth Taylor doesn't play Jane, she plays Jane's best friend, the one who dies due to neglect in the orphanage.
